The Mayapuris are a kirtan band breathing new, young life into sacred 5,000-year-old songs, inspiring us to sing, dance and be transported. Musically, it’s a fusion with harmonium, mridanga drums, flute, acoustic guitars, cajón and more, with a sacred vibration. Their music has reggae, rock, rap and rock influences that gets upbeat and exotic when they add mantras to it.
